Fredonia was up for a challenge against the Bobcats on the day of the twenty ninth in November. They arrived here at 4:00 for the 5:15 game. I have to say when we first saw them it was intimidating. They were all very tall and seemed like they knew how to play. For our team this was a challenge because we are not the tallest people out there. The team, at first, was discouraged, but then came the pre-game talk from our coach. He gave us some very good advice about the game to be and also about life. No matter how good the team looks or even is, if we work harder on the court, the results will favor us. This was very inspiring to the team and led us to work harder than Fredonia the whole game. We led the score the entire 4 quarters of the game until the last 4 minutes. We worked harder and got down the court to play defense and it paid off. The last minutes of the game proved this, because by the end of this game we were gassed. It was a hard loss knowing we were up the whole game and we lost in the last four minutes, but we had fun doing what we love to do. 44 to 47 was the final score. Fredonia came out on top, but not without a fight from the Cross Creek Bobcats.
